Mistress of the Rite - Crone's Vision

'''Name:''' Elena "Crone's Vision" Vasilakis
'''Tribe:''' Black Furies
'''Auspice:''' Theurge
'''Breed:''' Homid
'''Rank:''' Adren
'''Role:''' Mistress of the Rite
====Early Life====
Elena Vasilakis was born into a close-knit Greek-American family in San Diego. Raised with strong connections to her cultural heritage, she grew up hearing the stories of ancient goddesses and warriors from her grandmother, who was herself a fierce and independent woman. Elena was always drawn to these tales, particularly those of the Furies—vengeful spirits of justice. From a young age, she felt an inexplicable connection to something ancient and powerful, something that her mundane life could not explain.
As a teenager, Elena experienced intense dreams, visions of powerful women and mystical rites. These visions were unsettling but also filled her with a sense of purpose. The connection between her and the world of the supernatural grew stronger with each passing day until, at the age of 16, her First Change occurred. It happened during a visit to the cliffs of La Jolla, where she had gone to clear her mind. The transformation was triggered by a sudden surge of emotion—a mix of anger, fear, and an overwhelming need to protect the land beneath her feet from the unseen corruption she felt creeping in from the ocean.
====Joining the Black Furies====
After her First Change, Elena was found by members of the Black Furies. She was brought initially to the Sept of Maija Awi, where she learned the truth about her heritage. Elena took to her training as a Theurge with a fervent devotion, guided by her mentor, a powerful elder named Oracle’s Flame. Under her mentor’s guidance, Elena became deeply attuned to the spiritual world, her visions growing sharper and more frequent.
She earned the deed name "Crone's Vision" after a harrowing rite in which she invoked the spirit of an ancient Fury Crone to protect her Sept from a powerful Bane. The spirit granted her a vision that led her to the Bane’s lair, where she and her pack were able to destroy it, saving the Sept from certain doom.
====Role as Mistress of the Rite====
As she rose in rank, Crone's Vision proved herself to be a skilled and wise Theurge, with an unyielding connection to the spirits and a deep understanding of the ancient rites of the Black Furies. When the previous Mistress of the Rite stepped down, Crone's Vision was the natural successor. As Mistress of the Rite, she is responsible for overseeing all spiritual ceremonies within the Sept, from the most sacred rites to the everyday rituals that keep the spirits appeased and the Garou strong.
Her leadership style is firm but nurturing, much like the Crone spirits she so often communes with. She is respected and sometimes feared by those under her care, for she does not tolerate weakness or disrespect toward the ancient traditions. However, she is also a fierce protector of the young and the vulnerable, seeing herself as a mother to all within the Sept, especially to the kinfolk and cubs who need guidance.
====RP Notes====
Crone's Vision is a woman of deep wisdom and quiet intensity. She carries an air of authority that commands respect, yet she is also known for her compassion and her willingness to listen to those who seek her counsel. She is a master of patience, able to wait for the right moment to act, but when she does, her actions are decisive and powerful.
Her connection to the spiritual world makes her seem distant at times, as if part of her is always walking in the spirit realm. However, those who know her understand that she is constantly vigilant, ever watchful for signs and omens that might affect her Sept. She speaks with the voice of the ancients, her words often cryptic but always profound.
====Notable Achievements====
* Successfully performed the Rite of the Great Hunt, leading her Sept to a victory against a powerful group of Fomori threatening San Diego.
* Uncovered a Wyrm-tainted corporation masquerading as an environmental NGO, leading to its destruction.
* Maintains a delicate alliance with local water spirits, ensuring the Sept's protection from the dangers of the Pacific Ocean.
====Challenges and Conflicts====
Despite her many successes, Crone's Vision struggles with the burden of her visions, which sometimes show her potential futures filled with loss and sorrow. She wrestles with the responsibility of these visions, knowing that her actions—or inactions—could determine the fate of her Sept. Additionally, as the Mistress of the Rite, she must constantly mediate between the old ways of the Furies and the changing world of the Garou, a balance that is not always easy to maintain.
====Goals====
Crone's Vision seeks to strengthen the spiritual defenses of the Sept of the Rising Tide, forging deeper connections with the spirits of the land and sea. She also aims to mentor the next generation of Black Fury Theurges, ensuring that they carry on the traditions of their tribe with the same devotion and power that she embodies.
Her ultimate vision is of a world where the Black Furies reclaim their place as the ultimate protectors of the Earth, leading the Garou Nation in the final battle against the Wyrm. To this end, she tirelessly prepares her Sept for the challenges that lie ahead, knowing that the time of the Apocalypse is near.

Warder - Silent Current

'''Name:'''Takoda "Silent Current" Redclaw
'''Tribe:''' Uktena
'''Auspice:''' Theurge
'''Breed:''' Metis
'''Rank:''' Fostern
'''Role:''' Warder
====Early Life====
Takoda Redclaw was born under the shadow of a curse that many would deem unforgivable—a Metis child, the offspring of two Garou, his very existence a violation of the sacred Litany. His parents were both Uktena, driven together by a shared obsession with the hidden, forbidden knowledge of the ancient world. This passion, however, led them into a taboo union that resulted in Takoda’s birth. Born in the remote deserts of Arizona, far from the prying eyes of the Garou Nation, Takoda’s arrival was met with a mixture of shame and awe. His mother, a powerful Lupus Theurge named Nita 'Runs in Grace' Redclaw, saw in him a sign from the spirits, while his father, a stern Homid Ahroun named Maka 'Shadow Claw' Dosela , wrestled with guilt and pride.
From an early age, Takoda displayed a deep connection to the spirit world, far beyond what was expected even of an Uktena Theurge. He could see and interact with spirits that were invisible to others, and he had an innate understanding of the ancient rites and rituals that his tribe guarded so fiercely. His deformity—an ever-present tremor in his hands—was a constant reminder of his cursed heritage, but it did not hinder his connection to the spiritual realms. In fact, some whispered that the tremor was a physical manifestation of the spiritual energy that constantly surged through him.
Growing up in relative isolation, Takoda was trained in the ways of the Uktena by his mother, who saw in him a potential to transcend the stigma of his birth. She taught him the ancient rites of the Uktena, the secrets of spirit-binding, and the deep lore of the tribe's past. His father, although distant, instilled in him a strong sense of duty and the importance of protecting the tribe’s secrets. Takoda learned to move through the world like a silent current, unseen but ever-present, observing and learning without drawing attention to himself.
As he grew, Takoda began to feel the pull of the ocean, a force that called to him in his dreams and meditations. He believed this was a sign from Uktena totem urging him to seek out a place where he could fulfill his destiny. When he was old enough, Takoda set out on a journey westward, following the rivers and streams that eventually led him to the coast of Southern California. Here, on the rugged bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, he found the place that called to him—the future site of the Sept of the Rising Tide. Takoda saw an opportunity to establish a stronghold for the garou, a place where the ancient powers of the land and sea could be harnessed and protected.
====The Role of Warder====
As the Sept of the Rising Tide became established, Takoda took on the role of Warder after a particular event that proved himself through, a position that was both natural and inevitable given his skills. Takoda’s greatest challenge, and the one to prove himself, came in the form of a powerful Bane that sought to corrupt the ocean itself, an ancient spirit of pollution and decay that had festered in the depths for centuries. With the help of his septmates and his deep connection to Uktena totem, Takoda was able to confront and banish this Bane, cleansing the waters and reaffirming the sept's connection to the ocean.
His victory over the Bane cemented Takoda's reputation as a powerful and wise leader, not just within the sept but among the wider Garou Nation. Though he was still a Metis and bore the scars of his birth, he was respected as a guardian of the land and the spirits, a protector of both the ancient past and the uncertain future.
As Warder, Takoda was responsible for the physical and spiritual security of the sept. He oversaw the defenses, both mundane and mystical, and assisted the Mistress of Rites maintain the sacred spaces where the sept's rituals were conducted. His deep connection to the spirits allowed him to sense threats before they fully materialized, and his knowledge of ancient Uktena magic enabled him to craft powerful wards and barriers that protected the sept from harm.
Takoda's leadership style is quiet and understated, but it is underpinned by an unshakeable resolve. He leads by example, often working late into the night to reinforce the sept's defenses or meditating for hours to commune with the spirits. His status as a Metis, in some ways being a hindrance, became a source of strength. He understands what it meant to be an outcast, to live on the fringes of Garou society, and he used that understanding to build a sept that welcomed those who had been rejected elsewhere, beneath the watchful eyeo f the Alpha. The Rising Tide became a haven for Garou who sought redemption, a place where they could rebuild themselves and find new purpose.
====Cultural Tie-ins====
Takoda "Silent Current" Redclaw comes from the Navajo tribe, also known as the Diné. The Navajo are one of the largest Native American tribes in the United States, with a rich cultural heritage that includes deep spiritual beliefs, complex social structures, and a profound connection to the land. The Navajo’s traditions of storytelling, spirituality, and reverence for nature align closely with the values of the Uktena tribe.
Cultural Background:
Spirituality: The Navajo people have a deep spiritual tradition that includes ceremonies, chants, and a close relationship with the natural world and the spirits that inhabit it. Takoda’s connection to the spirit world as an Uktena Theurge is strongly influenced by his Navajo heritage, which emphasizes the importance of balance, harmony, and respect for all living things.
Stories and Knowledge: The Navajo are known for their oral traditions, which preserve the tribe’s history, beliefs, and values. Takoda's role as a keeper of ancient knowledge within the Uktena tribe is reflective of the Navajo tradition of passing down important stories and wisdom from generation to generation.
Connection to the Land: The Navajo have a profound connection to their homeland, which is seen as sacred and central to their identity. Takoda’s dedication to protecting the natural world and the land around the Sept of the Rising Tide is an extension of his Navajo upbringing, where the land is not just a place to live but a living, spiritual entity that must be respected and cared for.
Influence on Takoda’s Identity:
Cultural Integration: Takoda’s identity as both a Navajo and a Garou is deeply intertwined. His Navajo roots provide him with a strong foundation in spiritual practices, respect for the earth, and a commitment to community—all of which are crucial aspects of his role as Warden. His understanding of Navajo traditions also helps him bridge the gap between his human and Garou identities, giving him a unique perspective that he brings to his leadership within the Uktena tribe.
Role in the Sept: As a Warden, Takoda draws upon his Navajo heritage to guide his actions and decisions. He sees the Sept of the Rising Tide as a modern extension of the traditional Navajo role of protecting and nurturing the community and the land. His leadership style is collaborative and inclusive, reflecting the Navajo emphasis on community and collective responsibility.
Takoda’s Navajo heritage not only shapes his personal identity but also enhances his role within the Uktena tribe and the broader Garou Nation. His background gives him a deep well of wisdom and cultural strength to draw from as he navigates the challenges of protecting his sept and preserving the ancient knowledge of his people.
====Legacy====
Takoda "Silent Current" Redclaw's story is one of redemption and strength. He overcame the stigma of his birth to become a revered leader, respected by his peers and feared by his enemies. As the Warder of the Sept of the Rising Tide, Takoda ensures that the sept would stand as a beacon of hope and resilience on the edge of the Pacific, a place where Garou from all walks of life could find a home and a purpose. His legacy lives on in the sept’s continued prosperity and in the spirits that still watch over the bluffs and the sea, whispering his name in the currents that flow beneath the waves.
====Goals====
Silent Current's goals as the Warden of the Sept of the Rising Tide are deeply influenced by his unique background as a Metis Uktena, his connection to the spirit world, and his role as a protector of both the sept and the ancient knowledge of his tribe. His goals reflect his desire to maintain balance, protect his sept, and uphold the traditions and values of the Uktena. Here are his primary goals:
**1. Protecting the Sept and its Members
Security and Defense: Takoda’s foremost goal is to ensure the safety and security of the Sept of the Rising Tide. This includes maintaining and strengthening the sept’s defenses against threats, whether they come from the Wyrm, the Weaver, or other supernatural forces in the region. He is particularly focused on preventing corruption from seeping into the sept, using his knowledge of ancient Uktena rites to ward off spiritual and physical dangers.
Guidance and Mentorship: Takoda seeks to be a mentor to the members of the sept, especially those who, like him, may have been outcasts or marginalized within Garou society. He wants to create a community where every member can contribute and grow, regardless of their past or circumstances of birth.
**2. Preserving and Expanding Knowledge
Guarding Ancient Secrets: As an Uktena and a Metis with a deep connection to the spirit world, Takoda is dedicated to preserving the ancient knowledge and secrets of his tribe. He sees this as his sacred duty, and he works tirelessly to uncover, safeguard, and pass on this knowledge to future generations. This includes everything from ancient rites and rituals to lost histories and the secrets of the land and sea.
Exploring New Mystical Frontiers: Takoda is also driven by a desire to explore and understand new mystical phenomena, particularly those connected to the ocean and the coastlines. He seeks to uncover hidden spiritual pathways and tap into powers that have long been dormant or forgotten. This exploration is not just for the sake of knowledge but also for the protection of the sept and the Garou Nation as a whole.
**3. Fostering Unity and Cooperation
Building Alliances: Takoda aims to strengthen the ties between the Sept of the Rising Tide and other Garou septs, as well as with other supernatural allies in the region. He understands that unity is crucial in the fight against the Wyrm and other threats, and he works to foster cooperation between different factions. His leadership style is inclusive, and he values the contributions of all who seek to protect Gaia.
Promoting Inclusivity within the Sept: Within his own sept, Takoda is committed to promoting a culture of inclusivity and mutual respect. He wants the Sept of the Rising Tide to be a place where all Garou, regardless of their background or rank, can find a purpose and contribute to the greater good. He is particularly focused on ensuring that Metis Garou are treated with dignity and given opportunities to prove their worth.
**4. Restoring and Protecting the Natural World
Cleansing Corruption: Takoda is determined to cleanse the ocean and the surrounding lands of any lingering corruption from the Wyrm. This goal is deeply personal to him, as he sees the purity of the natural world as directly tied to the spiritual well-being of the Garou and the Earth itself. He often leads efforts to purify tainted areas, using his unique spiritual connection to guide these rituals.
Environmental Stewardship: Beyond battling the Wyrm, Takoda is also focused on protecting and restoring the natural environment around the sept. He is a strong advocate for ecological balance and works to ensure that the sept’s activities do not harm the land or the sea. He sees this as part of his duty as a Garou and as a spiritual leader.
**5. Redeeming the Past
Personal Redemption: Takoda is driven by a personal quest for redemption, not just for himself but for all Metis who have been judged solely by their birth. He wants to prove that Metis Garou can be just as valuable, if not more so, than their pure-bred counterparts. His actions are guided by a desire to leave behind a legacy that shows the strength and resilience of those who are often underestimated or cast aside.
Healing Old Wounds: On a broader level, Takoda seeks to heal the divisions within the Garou Nation and between the Garou and other supernatural beings. He understands that unity is essential for survival and that old grudges and prejudices can only weaken their collective efforts. Through his leadership, he hopes to foster a sense of unity and purpose that transcends old enmities.
These goals define Takoda’s approach to his role as Warder and reflect his deep commitment to his sept, his tribe, and the broader mission of the Garou Nation. He is a leader who combines wisdom with action, always seeking to protect, preserve, and heal in a world that is constantly under threat from forces that seek to corrupt and destroy.
====Description====
Takoda stands at about 6 feet tall, with a wiry, almost skeletal build. His frame is lean, with prominent bones and sinewy muscles that give him a gaunt, angular appearance. Despite his thinness, there is a sense of quiet strength about him, as if his body is a vessel for something much more powerful within. His skin is a warm, coppery brown, characteristic of his Navajo heritage, but it is marred by small patches of rough, scaly skin, particularly on his arms and shoulders. These patches are reminiscent of reptilian scales, a physical manifestation of his Metis nature. His skin has a slightly weathered look, as if it has been exposed to the elements for a long time, reinforcing his connection to the natural world. His hands are slender and bony, with long fingers that tremble slightly due to the constant, subtle tremor that marks him as Metis. Despite the tremor, his hands are surprisingly dexterous, capable of performing complex rituals and handling delicate spiritual tools with care. His fingers are often adorned with rings made of silver or bone, each one inscribed with symbols of protection or spiritual power.
Takoda’s face is sharp and angular, with high cheekbones, a narrow jawline, and a prominent nose. His eyes are one of his most striking features—they have a faint, unnatural glow that is particularly noticeable in dim light, giving him an eerie, otherworldly look.. His eyes are a deep, dark brown, almost black, and are often intense and focused. His lips are thin, and when he speaks, his voice is deep and gravelly, carrying the weight of his wisdom and experience. His expression is often calm and composed, but there is an underlying intensity that suggests he is always thinking, always observing. His hair is long, straight, and black, usually worn loose or tied back in a simple braid that hangs down his back. His hair is thick and healthy, contrasting with his otherwise gaunt appearance. The braid is often adorned with small beads or feathers, symbols of his spiritual practices and his connection to his Navajo roots.
He favors simple, practical clothing that allows him to move easily and perform his duties as Warden. He often wears dark, earth-toned garments—loose-fitting pants, long-sleeved shirts, and a sturdy leather vest. Around his neck, he wears a necklace of carved stone beads, each one representing a different spirit that he honors. He also carries a pouch at his side, filled with various herbs.

'''Rank:''' Adren
====History====
Katya Petrova was born into a lineage of fierce and proud Shadow Lords in the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. Her family had a long history of serving as enforcers and protectors within their tribe, always striving for power and respect. From a young age, Katya was trained in the ways of the Shadow Lords, learning to use her cunning, strength, and ruthlessness to her advantage.
As a cub, Katya was known for her fierce determination and unyielding will. Her First Change occurred during a brutal winter when her family’s village was attacked by a pack of Black Spiral Dancers. In a fit of rage, she shifted into her war form and fought off the attackers, saving several villagers in the process. This act of bravery earned her recognition among her peers, and she was quickly initiated into the tribe as a full-fledged Garou.
Katya’s journey took her across Europe, where she participated in various Garou conflicts, earning a reputation as a fearsome and relentless warrior. Her ruthless tactics and strategic mind made her a valuable asset to any sept she joined. However, her ambition often put her at odds with other Garou, and she found herself moving from sept to sept, always searching for a place where her talents would be fully recognized and appreciated.
Arrival in San Diego
Several months ago, Katya arrived in San Diego, drawn by whispers of a new sept forming on the southern edge of the city’s coastline—the Sept of the Rising Tide. This sept, formed by Garou seeking refuge and renewal, offered Katya a fresh start and a chance to prove herself in a new territory. She saw the potential in the Rising Tide to become a powerful sept, one that could command respect within the Garou Nation.
Katya quickly integrated herself into the sept, offering her skills as a warrior and tactician. She participated in several key battles, defending the sept from threats both mundane and supernatural. Her prowess in combat and her ability to outmaneuver opponents caught the attention of the sept’s leaders, who saw in her the qualities needed for the role of Master of Challenges. The sept needed someone who could maintain the delicate balance of power among the Garou, someone who could uphold the honor of the sept and enforce its laws with an iron hand. Katya saw this as her opportunity.
She challenged the strongest contenders for the position in a series of grueling duels. Using a combination of her martial prowess, cunning, and deep understanding of Garou law, she defeated each opponent. In her final challenge, she faced a seasoned Get of Fenris Ahroun in single combat. The battle was fierce and bloody, but Katya emerged victorious, solidifying her claim to the title of Master of Challenges.
Her victory was not just a display of strength; it was a demonstration of her ability to outthink and outmaneuver even the most powerful adversaries. The Alpha, impressed by her skills and understanding of Garou traditions, awarded her the position.
====Description====
Katya is a tall, imposing woman in her mid-30s with sharp, angular features and piercing gray eyes that seem to see through deception. Her dark hair is usually tied back in a tight braid, and she carries herself with the confidence of someone who has seen many battles and emerged victorious. Her body is lean and muscular, marked by numerous scars, each one a testament to her experience and survival in the brutal world.
She often wears practical, durable clothing—leather jackets, combat boots, and fingerless gloves—that allow her to move freely in combat. A pewter pendant in the shape of a stylized fist, a symbol of her strength and authority, hangs around her neck.
====Personality====
Personality
Katya is known for her stern demeanor and no-nonsense attitude. She is not one to mince words, and she expects the same level of discipline and dedication from those around her. While she may come across as cold and unapproachable, those who earn her respect find her to be a loyal and dependable ally.
She values strength, cunning, and honor above all else and has little patience for weakness or indecisiveness. Katya believes that the Garou are destined to lead, and she is determined to ensure that the Shadow Lords, and by extension herself, are at the forefront of that leadership.

Cautionary Tale

Some may consider that to get to know a sphere it's best to come in as the minor splat of the sphere. In many cases, this is quite true. Unfortunately, this is not the case for Werewolf. We advise that if you are beginning to learn about the sphere, then consider a cub or freshly-Rited Cliath application instead. Kinfolk have a very specific place in the Garou hierarchy, and often have ''more'' expectations placed upon them than young Garou. Kinfolk also are typically given less room to screw up by comparison to a Cliath. Most older Garou will expect that Kinfolk will be trained from a young age to cater for and care for Garou if they are raised among the People. Some older Garou will even assume that this is a natural state for Kinfolk, and even those callow kinfolk who don't know about the Garou ''should'' "automatically" know how to cater to their Werewolf relatives.
In addition, this Sept is a traditional setting. Kinfolk are not on equal ground as Garou. Spirits do not pay much attention to most kinfolk; kinfolk are never considered part of a pack (protected by their mate, perhaps, but not acknowledged by the Totem). Kinfolk who disrespect Garou will expect to face consequences. NPC Kinfolk attempt to guide PC Kinfolk who are seen as overly ambitious or irreverent towards the Warriors of Gaia will be led to look at how their perspectives are actively harming Gaia. Garou that are found to be acting on behalf of Kinfolk against other Garou will be met with appropriate responses by leadership. Kinfolk families handle disputes in-house unless it's a grievance enough to draw Garou's attention (e.g., one of the Garou kills a Kin in a frenzy and must perform Contrition or be otherwise punished by the Sept, etc.), but the majority of the time the Garou have far more important matters to attend to.
The crux of the nature of Kinfolk in a Garou Sept is that you are ''merely human.'' You may have the blood of the wolf, and your family may even be well-bred. You may have picked up some Renown for killing a Bane, but at the end of the day, you're a human. You have no understanding of what it means to have a three-part soul split among human, wolf, and spirit. You have no understanding of the actual responsibilities and threats faced by the Garou on a daily basis from the perspective of the soldiers in the field. Kinfolk are not able to travel into the Umbra on their own and also often will not understand just how dire things have gotten on a spiritual level.
A kinfolk's purpose is to aid the Garou in the outside world. They can not do certain things themselves due to the curse of Rage. Kinfolk are that crucial link to humanity which, if lost, the Garou will find themselves unable to relate to an increasingly human world. This is also a promise that you won't be forgotten as a kinfolk PC; we will ensure you have things to contribute to the story.
'''''As a final word of caution:''''' On other games — probably every game — there are usually disputes related to mating and, to be blunt, who's fucking whom. This is not the type of story that we intend to tell here. If this becomes an issue or a dispute in some way requiring staff to step in, you'll have the ability to rectify it '''once''', meaning ''one'' conversation, but if this continues to be disruptive, you will be asked to leave the sphere.

Mistress of the Rite - Crone's Vision

Name: Elena "Crone's Vision" Vasilakis
Tribe: Black Furies
Auspice: Theurge
Breed: Homid
Rank: Adren
Role: Mistress of the Rite

Early Life

Joining the Black Furies

Role as Mistress of the Rite

RP Notes

Notable Achievements

  • Successfully performed the Rite of the Great Hunt, leading her Sept to a victory against a powerful group of Fomori threatening San Diego.
  • Uncovered a Wyrm-tainted corporation masquerading as an environmental NGO, leading to its destruction.
  • Maintains a delicate alliance with local water spirits, ensuring the Sept's protection from the dangers of the Pacific Ocean.

Challenges and Conflicts

Despite her many successes, Crone's Vision struggles with the burden of her visions, which sometimes show her potential futures filled with loss and sorrow. She wrestles with the responsibility of these visions, knowing that her actions—or inactions—could determine the fate of her Sept. Additionally, as the Mistress of the Rite, she must constantly mediate between the old ways of the Furies and the changing world of the Garou, a balance that is not always easy to maintain.

Goals

Name:Takoda "Silent Current" Redclaw
Tribe: Uktena
Auspice: Theurge
Breed: Metis
Rank: Fostern
Role: Warder

Early Life

The Role of Warder

His goals reflect his desire to maintain balance, protect his sept, and uphold the traditions and values of the Uktena. Here are his primary goals:

Description

Mistress of Challenge, Iron Fist

Name: Katya "Iron Fist" Petrova
Tribe: Shadow Lord
Auspice: Philodox
Breed: Homid
Rank: Adren
Role: Mistress of Challenge, pro-temp Truthcatcher

History

Arrival in San Diego Several months ago, Katya arrived in San Diego, drawn by whispers of a new sept forming on the southern edge of the city’s coastline—the Sept of the Rising Tide.

Kinfolk have a very specific place in the Garou hierarchy, and often have more expectations placed upon them than young Garou. Kinfolk also are typically given less room to screw up by comparison to a Cliath. Most older Garou will expect that Kinfolk will be trained from a young age to cater for and care for Garou if they are raised among the People. Some older Garou will even assume that this is a natural state for Kinfolk, and even those callow kinfolk who don't know about the Garou should "automatically" know how to cater to their Werewolf relatives.

The crux of the nature of Kinfolk in a Garou Sept is that you are merely human. You may have the blood of the wolf, and your family may even be well-bred.

As a final word of caution: On other games — probably every game — there are usually disputes related to mating and, to be blunt, who's fucking whom. This is not the type of story that we intend to tell here. If this becomes an issue or a dispute in some way requiring staff to step in, you'll have the ability to rectify it once, meaning one conversation, but if this continues to be disruptive, you will be asked to leave the sphere.
